Great Zimbabwe they call stone mystery of Africa. And indeed in this building there is very much unusual.


The word "Zimbabwe" originates from one expression in the language of Shona tribe and literally means "stone." The oldest description of G. Zimbabwe belongs to the Portuguese chronicler di Goish who may be did not see city himself but heard about it from Arab merchants. He wrote: "In the heart of the country lies composed of large and heavy stone fortress. This is amazing and unique building, it looks inside as well as outside, because its stones are bonded without mortar and coated with nothing ... On the stone over the entrance there is a sign which is so old that nobody can read it. Around on the same plain, are scattered constructed in the same manner others fortresses. As far as we can judge all these fortresses were erected to protect the gold mines ... King Banamatapa holds rich court and people serve him on their knees. "


When in the end of the 19th century, Europeans came here,
this information was really confirmed. Huge stone buildings really stood in this place, but neighboring tribes had no idea who, when and how could erect these structures.

The fortress was built of stone, unusual for Africa building material. Stone structures of Great Zimbabwe (GZ) are scattered over the area of 24 hectares and are located in the highest part of the plain. GZ consists of three building complexes: the early acropolis (or castle on the hill), an elliptical structure (castle, surrounded with a giant stone wall) and ruins which are located between them in the river valley.


Massive stone fortress as if is plotted on curves, it has a conical tower and surrounded with a wall nearly of 300-meter-long (wall base is 5 meters, height is 10 meters).
Stone blocks are stacked so carefully and skillfully that the wall was preserved to the present day almost completely.
Scientists calculate that in the walls of Zimbabwe are laid 15,000 tons of stone. To erect such buildings without special engineering knowledge, with primitive methods is impossible. Therefore, the first explorers of these stone structures believed that the constructions of Great Zimbabwe are not of African origin.


GZ has mysterious layout and incomprehensible purpose both all complex and its separate buildings. Debates about the time of construction GZ and about that who built it do not end.

This wonderful example of erection with the method of dry-laid rises on 9 meters, the length of its circumference at the base is 17 meters. With its own form the tower resembles a granary of peasants of local Shona tribe, but because of its absolute solidity purpose of this building presents unsolvable puzzle for archaeologists.


However, if we consider GZ as a geographical landmark, visible even from space, and the tower of it as specific point, then a lot of things stand on their places.


As a point of system of ancient monumental buildings GZ plays the most important role, it is connected with the explicit laws of the main objects of the system and its location is not random of course.


Large Zimbabwe with a small error lies on the meridian of Great Pyramid (GP) and is away from it on a distance of 5554 km, i.e. 50 * along the arc of globe. Latitude of GP is 30 * in the northern hemisphere, latitude of GZ is 20 * in the southern hemisphere. And here latitude of GZ is 20.27 * very close to the latitude of Teotihuacan - 19.42 * only in the northern hemisphere. Between the meridians of GZ and Teotihuacan are also 50 *. See article "GEODESY OF MERIDIANS." And this is not sole thing that connects the two objects.


GZ is the key point of the "Triangle of Giza" and its location gives logic to all the construction, justifying introduction of additional points.

In this position, we see that the azimuth of GP differs from the direction to the north on 0.23 *.


Megalithic park Asuka in Japan is another mystery, and its location is also clearly not random. Azimuth to this place in the point of GZ is 60.13 * the error is + 0.13 *.


With hexagram, oriented to the north-south axis, also interacts azimuth of Lalibela, which has the error of -0.44 * is equal to 15 *.


Also in this combination, with the error of 0.15 * is inscribed azimuth of Vatican, which is equal to 344.85 *, it is deflected on 15 * counter-clockwise from the north-south axis.

of 0.16 *,azimuth of Australian Aborigines - sacred mountain Uluru. Thus, azimuth of Uluru is 120 * - 3 * = 117 *.


Distance from GZ to Uluru is 10014 km, or exactly 90 * along the arc of globe, or ¼ of length of its circumference.


On the interactive map at the end of the page, you can see, that in such position of the hexagram, the direction to Uluru coincides with the orientation of the wall next to the fortress, and the axes of hexagram coincide with the outline of the internal structures.


We will see not once the interaction of GZ and Uluru, and it can say that these are pair of interconnected objects.

Turning octagon on 5.5 *, we obtain an unique combination of 4 azimuths, which are located multiply to 15 *.


In this position, of octagon azimuth of Baalbek, with error -0.13 *, coincides with the vertical axis.


Distance from GZ to Baalbek is 6026 km or 54.2 *. As we know, 54 is 36 + 18, so the GZ and Baalbek divide their large circle in the ratio of pentagram.


From azimuth of Baalbek on 60 * clockwise is away azimuth of Sigiriya. Angle between the directions is - 59.73 *, the error is -0.27 *.
This angle bisects the direction to Port Bajin. Between azimuths of Baalbek and Por Bajin are 30.22 *,the error is + 0.22 *, between the azimuths of Por Bajin and Sigiriya are 29.51 *, the error is -0.49 *.


In its turn the direction to Lhasa bisects the angle between azimuths of Por Bajin and Sigiriya. Azimuths between Lhasa and Por Bajin are 15.26 *, the error + 0.26 *, between azimuths of Lhasa and Sigiriya are 14.25 *, the error is -0.75 *.


Accordingly the angle between the directions to Baalbek and Lhasa is 45.48 * and with accuracy of + 0.48 * is close to 45 *. This means that the combination of Baalbek and Lhasa azimuths we will see at consideration of octagon.

It should be noted here, that the line GZ - Sigiriya also passes through the Plain of Jars in Laos. Azimuth to one of the sites is 65.34 *.

The figure clearly shows that the direction to Stonehenge and Nazca desert are perpendicular. The error is -0.78 *.


The angle between azimuths of Nazca lines and Easter island, with much greater precision is close to 30 * and is equal to - 29.86 *, the error is -0.14 *.


It should be noted here, that geoglyphs in the Nazca desert have a length of more than 70 km, so about accuracy of Nazca azimuth, in this case we can say only conditionally.
Confidently enough we can say only that in the desert there are points for which the conditions of this combination will be carried out with minimal errors.


As it is well known Easter island and Nazca together with Great Pyramid (GP) lie on the same line, and GZ, in its turn, lies on the meridian of GP.


Also, it is interesting the fact that the distance from GZ to Easter island is 13247 km or 119.1 * in angular terms, i.e. is close to 120 *. Distance from GZ to Nazca desert is equal to 11050 km or 99.4 *along the arc of globe, i.e.is close to 100 *. In this case, the real difference between the distance is 20 * with the error 0.3 *.

In this position we get, with the error of 0.02 azimuth of Mohenjo-Daro, and with the error 0.06 azimuth of Teotihuacan, which divide a half of circle in the ratio of 60 * / 120 *.


The angle between two directions is 59.96 *, the error is -0.04 *.


It is interesting that the distance from GZ to Mohenjo Daro is 6618 km, and it is 59.4 * along the arc of globe.

Between Lalibela and Kailas 29.86 *, the error is -0.14 *.
